Quick and friendly service followed by a great breakfast. The ham special was huge! So large that I don't know how they do it for the price.

My family and I were out looking a local places if interested when we pulled up to see the Brahman Bill statue. While taking pictures with the statue we decided to go ahead and eat lunch at Grannie's since we were right there. It was pushing the 1:30 deadline to order fried chicken. Our server took our chicken orders first (5 orders) to beat the deadline. She came back and took the rest of our requests for lunch. The orders ranged from breakfast fare to chicken fingers to fried chicken with all the fixin's. The place has a hometown feel and the staff was very helpful, patient and professional. Everyone was satisfied with the choices and we enjoyed our lunch there! If you're in the area - make a trip to see the Bull statue and then eat at Grannie's!

The food here is good. And you can't beat the price for some good ole southern cookin. Been here countless times. Service is usually quick is a bit of a wait but it's worth it. It's crazy how it's $3 for a whole plate of biscuits and gravy. It can be a bit loud. But it's normal for a restaurant. Would recommend.

Best Biscuits and Gravy, (except for mine) that I have ever had. The people are nice, the food is better. I had three sausage links, two eggs, grit and toast. Those were quite good. However, the Biscuits and Gravy outshone everything else, including the decor which was outstanding. If by chance, you are passing through the little one horse town of Starke Florida, stop at Grannie's Country Cookin'. You will be happy you went. They close around 2 ish and are closed on Tuesdays.

Wow, stopped on our way through and will definitely stop again next time we are passing by! Delicious home cooking-I had the fried chicken plate and hubby had the grilled pork chops. Delicious and cost us under $20 for lunch!

The name in the sign is Grannies Country Cookin' and that's exactly what the food they serve conjures. We both had fried eggs, hash browns, and corned beef hash. My wife ordered rye toast and I got the biscuit. The biscuit was incredibly fluffy and absolutely delicious. They made my wife's rye toast with white bread. The breakfast itself was not only delicious but also very generous portions.

Grannie's Country Kitchen is something that must be experienced. We've been coming here for more than 10 years. We used to live in the Tampa area and would travel to Jacksonville to see my parents. We would stop here often. Grannie's is as old school roadside restaurant as you can get. This is definitely a "locals" place. Our favorite is the fried chicken. Hands down the tastiest and juiciest fried chicken we've had. Sundays is "all you can eat" chicken. Don't miss their chicken. I am also a big fan of their fried pork chops. I've had breakfast here too. Nothing here is less than superb.
